Meet the Creator
Chanel Jenkins is an actress, author, educator, and the proud mother of two boys. With acting credits spanning the stage, television—including Netflix—and live theater, she has always believed in the power of storytelling to educate, inspire, and bring people together.

In addition to her work in the arts, Chanel spent years serving as a New York City substitute teacher and working with children throughout her community. She is the founder of Positive Images Through the Arts, where she created APP (Academic Physical Play), an interactive after-school program that combined movement, outdoor exploration, and hands-on learning to make education active, engaging, and fun.

As both an educator and a parent, Chanel understands that every child experiences the world differently. Her personal and professional experiences have inspired her to create stories, educational experiences, and interactive learning adventures that support literacy, build confidence, encourage emotional well-being, and help children and families navigate life's challenges with courage, kindness, and hope.

Building on the success of APP (Academic Physical Play), Chanel later transformed her vision into the Ms. Featherpop Kids Learning App, bringing her interactive learning approach into a digital experience for children and families.

Today, Chanel is the creator of the Ms. Featherpop brand—an educational world of children's books, interactive games, educational experiences, and family adventures designed to make learning magical. Through Ms. Featherpop, Chanel continues to inspire children and families to read, explore, and discover that every lesson becomes a feather—and every feather helps them become who they're meant to be.
